Alan Heckman

Executive Chef

Washington Crossing Inn is excited to announce our new Executive Chef, Alan Heckman. Alan has over 10 years of experience working in the hospitality industry and has been part of the Washington Crossing Inn family since April 2010.


After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Hospitality Management, Alan moved to Seattle to work at Canlis restaurant, rated as the 19th best restaurant in America by Gourmet magazine. When Alan left Canlis he moved to Connecticut to work at Craftsteak under Top Chef's head judge, Tom Colicchio. Alan remained in Connecticut taking a position as a Sous Chef at Aspen restaurant, an upscale contemporary American style restaurant.


After nearly two years at Aspen he relocated to Pennsylvania and the Washington Crossing Inn. Along with traveling within the United States, Alan has had the pleasure of traveling extensively abroad and trained in great countries such as Italy, Germany, Holland and Tunisia. Alan has stated "My style of cooking is progressive American and I like to focus on local, fresh and seasonal foods for menus."


Alex Bielanski

Alex Bielanski graduated with a Bachelor's in Food and Agriculture from Regional College with Honors Distinctions in 1990. Upon graduation, Alex moved to the United States from Poland.

Alex has 19 years of experience in the hospitality business including having worked with Barturo's Catering. A highlight of that experience was managing the cafeteria and galas for such high-profile clients such as Michael Bloomberg's, Bloomberg's Financial Market. And most recently in 2003, Alex transferred to Washington Crossing Inn. "Dedication and hard work are the foundations to understanding the needs of our customers."


Jane Agabiti

Jane AgabitiJane Agabiti is an accomplished Business Development Professional in the Hospitality/Restaurant/Beverage Industry with over 20 years experience working with Fortune 500 companies to individual customers. Ten of those years have been spent as the Banquet Manager for the Washington Crossing Inn where she coordinated all marketingand promotions activities for banquet facilities, dining services, and entertainment events. Jane's impeccable customer service skills and strong relationships with both customers and staff has been an invaluable contribution. Jane is excited to rejoin the Washington Crossing Inn family and looks forward to a prosperous year.
